Hi, its Dara!
Hi! My name is Dara. Welcome here!
Providing our community with top notch training services is of the utmost important to me. Throughout my time in animal rescue, I realized that dogs were being surrendered for preventable reasons such as potty training, lack of socialization, too much energy, reactivity, and more. I truly believe if owners were provided proper education at the start of their puppy's life, we would see far less dog's in our local shelter. Which is why our puppy academy was born, to help owners and their puppy start off on the right paw!
I am grateful to have worked as a Canine Behaviorist and Veterinary Technician at our local shelter where I have been mentored and trained by some of the most well qualified and compassionate trainers and techs.

Originally from Alaska, we moved to Prescott in 2017. My husband and I have 4 beautiful children and 5 dogs of our own

Learning Style
The tools we use to teach our dog matters. We focus on building a positive relationship with our puppy by avoiding harsh techniques, allowing our dog to explore their world but also adding enough structure and leadership to our dog live so that they can flourish in their family!
Community
Raising a puppy can be tough. But you don't have to do it alone. We believe in collaboration and community to build each other build a strong foundation and understanding of how to properly raise our puppies.
